Mad Catz Limited Warranty

Mad Catz Global Limited ("Mad Catz") provides this limited, non-transferable warranty to the original purchaser of Mad Catz hardware products. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship for the period specified on the product packaging or in the user documentation, measured from the date of purchase. This warranty is extended only to the original end-user purchaser and is not transferable.

This warranty grants you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary under local laws. This warranty does not affect any statutory rights that you may have under the applicable laws of your jurisdiction.

Obtaining Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service, you must provide a valid proof of purchase from an authorized retailer. Valid warranty claims are generally processed through the point-of-purchase retailer. Authorized Retailers

This Limited Warranty applies only to Mad Catz products purchased from Mad Catz or its authorized retailers. Mad Catz products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including online auction sites (except for the official Mad Catz store on such sites), are not covered by this warranty. Products purchased from unauthorized sources may be used, counterfeit, re-boxed, defective, or gray market goods, and may not be designed to work in your country. We recommend that you purchase products from authorized retailers to ensure you are receiving a genuine Mad Catz product.

Non-Transferable Warranty

This Limited Warranty is for the exclusive benefit of the original purchaser and is not transferable. If the product is sold or otherwise transferred to a third party, including through a private sale or a non-authorized retailer, this warranty becomes void. The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser in the country of original purchase.

Remedies

Mad Catz's entire liability and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, at Mad Catz's option:

1. to repair or replace the hardware; or
2. to refund the price paid, provided that the hardware is returned to the point of purchase with a copy of the sales receipt or dated itemized receipt from an authorized retailer.

Shipping and handling charges may apply except where prohibited by applicable law. Mad Catz may, at its option, use new, refurbished, or used parts in good working condition to repair or replace any hardware product. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction.

Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from:

• Accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification, or disassembly.
• Improper operation or maintenance, usage not in accordance with product instructions, or connection to an improper voltage supply.
• Use of consumables, such as replacement batteries, not supplied by Mad Catz, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Lost parts that were originally supplied with the Mad Catz hardware product.
• Non-Mad Catz branded devices, parts, or accessories, even if sold with the Mad Catz hardware product.
• Products purchased from unauthorized retailers, third-party sellers, or through private sales.
• Normal wear and tear.

Limitation of Liability

MAD CATZ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA (WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT) OR COMMERCIAL LOSS FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON YOUR PRODUCT, EVEN IF MAD CATZ HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Duration of Implied Warranties

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS HARDWARE PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD FOR YOUR PRODUCT. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

No Other Warranties

No Mad Catz dealer, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.
