The word “wireless” seems pretty straightforward at first. Without wires, right? But sometimes it’s not as simple as that. And for gamers, that’s a pretty big deal.

Sometimes “wireless” means you need to plug a cable into your controller and attach it to your headset. Sometimes it means you need to hook your headset up to the base station to recharge. Sometimes the word “wireless” doesn’t always mean wireless.

When we say “wireless” in talking about the Warhead 7.1 Wireless Surround Headset for Xbox 360, we really mean it. Warhead 7.1 on your ears, controller in your hands, and that’s it. Play games, chat over Xbox LIVE, watch a movie, whatever you can think of doing on your Xbox 360, you can now do it with a 7.1 Surround powerhouse (with Dolby Headphone technology, naturally) on your head, and not a single wire to be found.

How much life is left in your battery? You’ve been playing all day, so it could be anywhere between 99% and 1%. That’s a pretty broad window, but with the Warhead 7.1 there’s a super easy way to find out: hit your Xbox Guide button. On-screen battery level indicator. Whoa. No other surround headset can do that.

You probably don’t want to wear it into the shower, though. Just sayin’.If your battery is actually low, don’t sweat it. There’s already a hot-swappable battery, fully charged, sitting in your base station. Dead battery out, fresh battery in, and you’re good to go. Congratulations, you are now without limitations. Well, technological limitations anyway. You’ll still need to sleep and eat at some point, but guess what? You don’t need to take your headset off to do either of those things. You probably don’t want to wear it into the shower, though. Just sayin’.

Remember the old cartoons where a dog would get its leash wrapped around its owner until the owner’s face turned purple and his eyeballs exploded? Well, your eyeballs won’t explode. At least, not because you got tangled up in your controller and Warhead 7.1 headset. You might suffer explosive decompression at some point and your eyeballs may yet explode. But it won’t be from the Warhead 7.1. That’s our guarantee.

Warhead 7.1 Wireless Surround Headset for Xbox 360. Available right now. Order yours today.
