This past weekend, Singapore hosted The Games Xpo (TGX) 2012, a gigantic event dedicated to crowning the strongest warriors in multiple eSports titles such as FIFA 12, StarCraft II: Wing of Liberty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dragon Nest, Dota 2, World of Tanks, TEKKEN 6, and League of Legends. Amid the backdrop of furious game play, the event also featured the TGX Regional Business Summit, a creative space for game developers, publishers, and programmers to trade ideas and keep abreast of upcoming trends and opportunities in the industry.
Finally, not to be excluded from their gaming brethren, the country’s best cosplayers fired up the sewing machines for Cos X, a high-stakes competition within TGX to select the most exquisite costumes for both “anime” and “Western character” categories.
