This past weekend at Brazil Game Show our friends at Capcom held their 25th Anniversary Street Fighter tournaments to find out which world warrior would move on to the grand finals in December. Little did they know that ONE man would end up taking 4 of the qualifying spots for the finals event in San Francisco.
Our very own TOKIDO the MURDERFACE took 3 of the 4 tournaments this past weekend, winning Super Street Fighter II TURBO, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition and Street Fighter X Tekken ! The Tokido tour de force did not end there, he also got 2nd place in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Ver. 2012 which guaranteed him a qualifying spot in the SF25 Grand Finals taking place later this year in San Francisco! Daigo ‘The Beast’ Umehara will be competing later this month during the Japanese SF25 qualifier in Tokyo. Daigo is currently in the top-8 finals for Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Ver. 2012 . The top-2 placers for this event will qualify for the grand finals event that will take place in San Francisco later this year.
