The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Tournament train stopped in Taipei, Taiwan, this past weekend with an all-star line-up of competitors, and Mad Catz and Western Wolves came out on top!

Seonwoo “INFILTRATION” Lee and Ryan “LAUGH” Ahn, hot off of their big wins at EVOLUTION 2012, stormed into Taiwan and ran the proverbial table on the competition, with INFILTRATION taking both the Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012 and Street Fighter X Tekken Qualifier Grand Finals, and LAUGH winning the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Qualifier Grand Final!
As if the qualifying tournament wasn’t enough, the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary – Taiwan event also featured luminaries from the SF world, like Street Fighter IV & Street Fighter X Tekken producer Yoshinori Ono doing his best Chun-Li impersonation, plus model (and Street Fighter enthusiast) Kayo Police, EVOLUTION 2012 finalist GamerBee, and Mad Catz team members Hajime “TOKIDO The Murderface” Taniguchi and Kenryo “Mago 2DGOD” Hayashi playing exhibition matches! It was a true celebration of 25 awesome years of Street Fighter, and the Taiwanese fans couldn’t get enough.
The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary world tour stops next in London, England, on September 27, 2012, and after that it’s on to Sao Paulo, Brazil, on October 13, 2012. For the full schedule, check out the official Street Fighter 25th Anniversary site.
