Members of Team Mad Catz’s Western Wolves and Dominion Method Gaming made the trip out to Columbus, ohio this past weekend to compete in Season’s Beatings: Summer Slam!
Western Wolves’ Ryan ‘laugh’ Ahn and Seonwoo ‘INFILTRATION’ Lee made the trek all the way from S. Korea to participate in both Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Street Fighter X Tekken. They battled hard during the multiple day event and in Street Fighter X Tekken they made an amazing comeback in the Grand Finals against BT’s Dieminion and TFA RZR’s BananaKen, claiming the SFXTK team championship!
In Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, laugh got sent to the losers bracket early by Team Spooky’s Min. Later he got his revenge as he defeated Min and went on to qualify for the top 8 finals day in the bottom bracket. INFILTRATION took the high road and beasted through the competition, qualifying in winner’s side top 8 for finals day.
On finals day, laugh had close matches all the way through and with his brilliant performance landed the 5th place standing overall. INFILTRATION, after losing to FGTV’s PR Balrog in his winner’s semi-finals match came back through the loser’s bracket, defeating EG’s Ricky Ortiz in a close set and BT’s Dieminion in another amazing matchup. The long road VS. PR Balrog was grueling, however after INFILTRATION reset the bracket it seemed he sat in comfortable position to go all the way and eventually winning the SSFIV:AE championships!
