It was an epic weekend in Anaheim, CA! Some of the best gamers from all over the world gathered to compete in League of Legends, StarCraft II and Fighting Games powered by PlayStation! Mad Catz was proud to be at the MLG Spring Championships and show off our latest MLG products. At the event we had our MLG Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition and MLG Pro Circuit Controller, complete with an arsenal of accessories.

While there was no console first person shooters at the event, the console flag was held high through fighting games powered by PlayStation. Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters XIII, and SOULCALIBUR V took main stage and Team Mad Catz was there to fight for the title!

World class gamers from all over the world traveled for the prestigious title of MLG’s Spring Champion!

France’s Kayane took second place overall in SOULCALIBUR V!

Team Mad Catz’s TOKIDO came all the way from Japan to participate in The King of Fighters XIII and SOULCALIBUR V.

Tokido recently won SOULCALIBUR V at Shadowloo Showdown in Melbourne, Australia and had a strong showing in KOF XIII, getting 2nd place at SS2K12.

Team Mad Catz’s TOKIDO taking on nSydia’s Keev in a grueling match during the winner’s bracket of SOULCALIBUR V!

We had a lot of time to chat with some of the gamers and familiar faces at this event, check out our interview with Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez and his thoughts on the event…
