Building on our pioneering design, state-of-the-art precision engineering and leading edge material science – the bar is set higher for gaming control performance. Combining superlight composite parts with ground-breaking adaptable ergonomics and switchable premium sensors, our latest pinnacle product challenges any existing preconceptions of mouse design.
The light yet robust magnesium alloy chassis has been tested and refined using Finite Element Analysis throughout its technical development. Among a host of customisable part configurations, the carbon fibre thumb plate is both feather light and super stiff and co-efficient of friction can be fine-tuned by simply interchanging the pro glide surfaces.
Our multi-adjustable ergonomics can maximise gaming efficiency, comfort and speed to truly fit the individual. Palm rest configurations alone offer the gamer high/low/tilt left/tilt right/forward/back/tactile/lightweight options, whilst the revolutionary lateral scroll wheel uses analog control for the left/right movement paradigm or traversing huge maps.

The brief we set ourselves was to design a one-piece input system whilst retaining the ground-breaking visual signature and energetic appeal of our RAT heritage. Stripped back to the essential touch points yet remaining authentic, RAT 1 is everything you need.
Comfortable thanks to an adjustable palm rest, effortless thanks to quick-fire primary buttons, and lightweight for responsive agility whatever your game. Just as with our latest pinnacle RAT PRO x, we used FEA computational modelling in engineering RAT 1 to ensure the bold tripod chassis was structurally robust in dealing with the rigours of gaming and everyday use.
A fine design piece in its own right, RAT 1 enables you to disengage the sensor body from the chassis itself if you prefer just a finger-grip pinch or a super-compact control device. This allows the RAT 1 to be both agile and versatile in the extreme.
For the adventurous designers and engineers out there, we’ve made our palm rest surface data available for download in 3D format so you can create and style your own palm rest form, 3D print it and get hands on with your own truly customised RAT1 – and we love to see and showcase these!.
