Xbox 360
Q: How do I set up my Xbox 360 controller ( Item # 4716, 4726, or 4736) to be used on my PC?
A: Make sure that you do not plug the 360 controller into your USB port until AFTER you have installed the drivers correctly.

To get the Xbox 360 controller working on your PC, you will need to do the following:

1. Visit Microsoft’s website and locate the appropriate driver for your PC:

a. Go to www.microsoft.com
b. Type “Xbox 360 Controller for Windows” in the search bar
c. Click on the first link that says” Xbox 360 Controller for Windows”
d. Click on “Downloads” on the left hand side under “Resources”
e. Follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Once the driver is finished installing, plug the Xbox 360 controller into a free USB port on your PC.

3. If the “Hardware Update Wizard” appears, select “Install the software automatically (Recommended).”

Go into the Control Panel of your PC and click on the Game Controllers icon. If your PC is recognizing the controller properly, it will show up as MadCatz 360 (Controller)

Some PC games do not support USB controllers. If the game you want to play supports USB controllers, this should be stated on the back of the box the game was packaged in. Also, some PC games that do support USB controllers do not have proper support for our controller written into them. Contact the game developer in this case as there is nothing we can do on our end to force the game to see our controller.
