Next up in the United Kingdom for Mad Catz is European Gaming League 8, taking place October 13-14, as part of the Play Expo event in Manchester, England.
Mad Catz’ Western Wolves Halo team — which has been at the top of the genre for a number of years — is hyped about the forthcoming European Gaming League 8 tournament. Considered the culmination of the tournament scene for Halo: Reach, identical twins Will and Alex Buck think this is the tournament where they can regain the coveted European #1 slot — just in time for the launch of Halo 4 and the perfect platform upon which to demonstrate our incredible TRITTON Halo 4 headsets.
Recently reformed with a lineup that’s stronger than ever, the Wolves bring two new players which require no introduction to anyone remotely familiar with competitive Halo gaming: Fragby and JC.
Fragby, a legendary name around the scene, makes his return after lurking in the shadows for a while. Previously part of SK Gaming, the veteran will bring all his experience into the lineup, making him an invaluable member of the pack. JC, formerly a member of the Wolves, is back to wear our colors once again, this time hoping to further extend his stay.
After the success of EGL 7 earlier this year, Mad Catz will be returning as the headline sponsor for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Championship, the largest COD LAN tournament in the world.
